OUR BELIEFS

Dunamis Bible Believers International Ministries is a deliverance, healing, signs, and wonders ministry that teaches the inerrant word of God. DBBIM believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible and unchanging from Genesis to Revelation (2 Tim 3:16). We believe in the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; these three are one (1 John 5:7).

We believe salvation can only be obtained through repentance and confessing our sins. It’s a gift given by divine grace and not by works, and it can only be received through Faith in Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and Men (Acts 4:11-12); Ephesians 2:8; 1 Timothy 2:5).

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ.  We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin; that He was crucified, died, and on the third day He rose from the dead, He ascended to heaven Where He sits at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:30-35; Acts 2:32-36

We believe Sanctification happens instantly in the Spirit but must be progressively developed in the body and soul of every child of God (Hebrews 12:14; Romans 5:19-22). Besides this, we believe in baptism in the Body of Christ, where an individual accepts Jesus, experiences new birth, and becomes a new member of the Body of Christ and heir to eternal life (1 Corinthians 12:27).

We believe in the baptism in water as a symbol of our identification with death to sin and with the resurrection of Jesus to eternal life (Romans 6:4).

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in other tongues, through which we are empowered to become witnesses of Jesus to the world (Acts 1:8; 2:4).

We believe in the laying on of hands—the only way to transmit blessings, healing, and the power of God to others is through the laying on of hands (Acts 15-17; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6).

We also believe that the fivefold ministry is a gift given by God to the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).

We believe in the healing and delivering power of the Kingdom. We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick, cast out demons, and perform miracles, signs, and wonders (Mark 1:32-34; John 14:12; Matthew 12:28).

We believe in the Kingdom of God as a government where Jesus is King, and both are absolute and supreme truths (John 3-3; Acts 8:12; Romans 5: 17; Hebrews 12:28.
